All courses for young people are currently ‘closed’ courses where the school or club provides the training venue free of charge enabling its own young players to attend training. England Handball provides the course tutor, the resources, and the post-course certification.
national training centre Stoke Mandeville Stadium is the National Training Centre for England Handball. The Training Centre hosts senior and junior international-team training camps, youth-development training, England Handball competitions, and coaching and refereeing courses.

Re-launched for 2021, this new and improved course will teach you the key skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to become a great handball coach. Brought to you by England Handball in partnership with UK Coaching, by the end of this course you will be able to effectively prepare, plan, deliver and review coaching sessions.
The Diploma is delivered via six annual national training events which are supported by a variety of professionals in handball & sport science. Additional support will be delivered in conjunction with Great Britain Youth National training camps.

In working with England Handball, we also provided coach developer training, standardisation and orientations to support the workforce. Following on from this, we worked with Handball to develop the 1st4Sport Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Handball which was the first ever course by the NGB to appear on a qualification’s framework.
